Faceted Wild Clay Cup Home Our fully vegetable tanned milledMade from "wild clay", foraged from the Sierra Nevada foothills and minimally processed to preserve its unique character. This cup was formed on a potters wheel, and faceted with a wire tool while still wet to created the vertical planes around it. A generous amount of clay was used for this, and it has a pleasant heaviness to it while still being comfortably weighted. It was fired in a soda kiln, with wood added to create the range of dark tones in
