As a former worker of the fashion industry in NYC I keep the question Who Made My Clothes in mind whenever I shop and try to buy ethically produced items or at least locally made garments
Many people, including my daughter in law, rent dresses for special occasions which I think is a wonderful idea, but if you dont want to do that, then do have a classic, top level dress that you can wear time and time again and jazz up with various accessories to make it look different each time
Tuck it into a pair of straight, light-blue denim jeans with the cuffs rolled, and layer a flannel over top for simple 90s streetwear
Garlic can be swapped for shallot
Take the dressing out of the fridge 5 minutes or so before you want to use it, and make sure to shake it or stir it well before serving, as the ingredients will settle
