Since they come pre-scuffed I also dont worry as much about them when Im running after Eliza or when I get caught in a torrential downpour (yep that happened the first time I wore them!) So far absolutely no complaints here, they are comfortable once you get the hang of tying the laces (LOL, Im clearly a grandma!) and easy to break in
