Alysio de Mattos has been a professional musician throughout his life, both as a violinist and as a violist. He's always had interest for lutherie and bow works. In 2006, he spent some time in Paris, where he learned bow making with Christian Barthe and Richard Salan. Since then, he's been dedicating to making bows according to the classic French style and tradition.
