We measured the cell viability of ACs, PCs, ECs, and of two DMG patient-derived cell models (KISPIDMG-105 and SF8628) when cultured in (i) the BBB co-culture medium EAPM (VEGF-free EGM-2:HAM: HPM = 1:1:1), or in (ii) tissue-specific medium formulations, namely SF8628 Dulbeccos Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM), KISPIDMG-105 Tumor Stem Media-basal medium (TSM-basal medium), or in (iii) medium mixtures, which we termed EAPM + DMEM (EAPM: DMEM = 1:1) and EAPM + TSM-basal medium (EAPM: TSM-basal medium = 1:1)
