Late 19th Century Victorian Gold Drop Earrings 1980s ring seed pearlsA striking pair of 14ct gold drop earrings that were made circa 1880 in the Etruscan Revival style. They are composed of a gold hollow bead with ornate detailing to the front (plain to the back) with a hinged scalloped upper section top with a silver coloured bead. They are finished with 9ct gold shepherd wire hooks. The gold is a lovely rich butter yellow colour. Excavations during the 19th century revealed the great Etruscan necropolises, which
