The well figured walnut frame is beautifully formed with swept rear side rails modestly decorated with acanthus leaf carving. The serpentine front seat rail features a stylised, asymmetric motif and unites the splayed cabriole front legs with carved scrolled knees and toes. Riding upon the original brass castors the traditionally stuffed seat is covered in a needlepoint
