A really interesting piece it is sure to receive many compliments - though do expect to twirl a bit as people ask to see all sides to figure it out

and yet once on the body it lies and drapes in a way that it is balanced and not at all unwieldy

This Rive Gauche version would have been based on that Haute Couture gowns from the late seventies collection. It has no YSL label any longer but is clearly his work and bears the label of the Paris Department store W. Beresford on Rue St Honore. I have dated this to the 1980s collection based on the set worn by Iman (see
