BLEND 13 is comprised of four barrels blended together that were selected based on aromatic and flavor alignment. Pulling fruit solely from the darker fruit driven blocks of our vineyard, BLEND 13 focuses on purity of fresh blackberry, dark cherry & black licorice that overwhelm the glass. Weve found success utilizing a specific yeast strain during ferment on these blocks to enhance these darker fruit flavors.
