I also painted it with a wet on wet technique that allowed the colors to blend together softly

then traced out the Zia symbol

Arizona Sunset Saguaros (canvas wrap) Size:30" x 40" On the original version ofThe original Arizona Sunset Saguaros was painted on a folding road map of Arizona. A raised copper bead is used to uniquely embellish each piece. Copper works well with this piece for the colors as well as the symbolism. Arizona mines produce more copper than any other state. I painted this at the same time I painted the "Arizona Moonlight Saguaros" If you look at them both you'll see the similarity in the colors. It is one of my best selling Arizona
