but the wine is still incredibly fresh and youthful

so much so that the Pinot Noir is planted on deeper soils than the Riesling and Gris in this vineyard due to the fact that in some parts the mother rock literally is poking out of the top soil

from the 2018 vintage

around which a more tactile and talcum yet creamy fruit quality persists
