Handmade from Tiger Maple (labeled as Maple) with a Hard Maple shaft. This spindle weighs 10 11g. The arms measure 2. 5" and the shaft is 4. 25" long. The shafts have a small finial to hold the half hitch. These are for spinning very thin cobweb lace weight yarns and are not intended as beginner spindles.
